1985
Mr Kyösti Simonen founded company, which focus to make cutting tools for metal and electronics industry. On the earlier phase founder work alone his own garage.

1988 After three years Carelia Tools has founded lot of new customers, and it was time for new factory, and new skilled workers. There were lot of space at new factory, 400 m2. Mr Kyösti Simonen has expand his business to new area, tool maintenance and manufacturing. Total amount of personnel were 5.

1996
Company expand continue, new bigger factory founded end of the year, 1000m2. Permanent customer relationship was the basic element for the business, customers were satisfaction of high quality tools and services.

1999
The end of millenium company's personnel has increased 20. It was time for new investments and training of the people. The company most valuable keys for success were high quality and delivery time.

2000 ->
New services published, high speed machining and wire cutting for electrodes manufacturing. New subsidiary founded which focus wire cutting service, and it was named MyyCut Ltd.

2005
New managing director appointed, Mr Toivo Vatanen.

2008
MyyCut Ltd merged to Carelia Tools Ltd.
